Get to Know Me

I created my first website in 2012 when I taught myself how to install and use WordPress to blog about my passions. After a year of blogging, I started volunteering at my city organization, updating their website as they served the local businesses and worked to beautify the neighborhood. This led to the opportunity to also create and manage the website for the annual neighborhood festival they organized.

From that experience, I quickly learned that the interest and tech-savviness that helped me build my own website could offer value to organizations and businesses as they used their online platform to reach their goals.

So, in 2015, I took my first online certificate course to hone my skills, which helped me launch my business to continue helping even more organizations and businesses with their websites and online presence.

The rest, as they say, is history. I have worked with yoga instructors, health & life coaches, mom ‘n pop shops, real estate agents, IT consultants, roofers, plumbers, therapists, leadership trainers, large and small nonprofit organizations, and the list goes on.

If you are looking for a stunning website for your business or organization that delivers results, I’m happy to help.

How do you work Kuda?

My workflow

I always follow specific steps when I’m working on a design project. In this way I can keep everything organised and it creates moments to talk about the project with my clients.

In the first part of the project I mostly ask questions and talk with my clients about what they want. I want to get a super clear picture of what they want and need. Only then can I deliver a product that both parties are happy with.

After I have a rough enough understanding of the client’s needs and wants I can start designing the first part of the website.

When it’s a big project I always start with wireframing. This is the process where I design in grey, without using colours, images and styling options. Then I share this design with my client and when they agreed I continue with the visual design. This is where I will add details and make it come to live.

When the design is done and my client is happy with the final design I go on with installing WordPress and all the plugins that I need for the project.

Then I will start creating the pages one by one and send my client preview links along the process. This makes it easy to get feedback for me and assures my client that they get the things that they want.

After all the pages are developed inside of WordPress I share a final preview link to my client. We will look at the result and edit any detail to make the website perfect. After a final check I will put the website live and give it the necessary optimisation for Google.

What do I use?

Software

I like to use the latest software for my projects, so I know there is nothing better to use for my clients. These are the platforms that I use on a regular basis.

Software 4 11ty
Software 2 Jamstack
logo netlify large fullcolor lightmode
Software 1 Figma
Software 6 Google Analytics 1 1 1 1
Software 4 Wordpress 1

Every website is built to meet the needs of the individual customer; therefore, the cost of a new website will vary depending on how many pages and features you require. However, we provide honest pricing, always keep our rates competitive and are happy to tailor packages to fit your budget. As a starting point, a templated website from KudaWP starts at $999, and a custom website from $2499.

To help spread the cost, I offer monthly payment plans on our custom website packages

Once all logins, images, website content, and necessary information are received from the client, projects are generally completed within a 30-90 day period (30 days is most common for basic, 5-10 page websites). Length may vary depending on project size and functionality, along with my current schedule and your responsiveness in getting me the content and approvals I need to move forward.

I build websites on WordPress using Elementor or Divi, two powerful and user-friendly platforms that require no coding. With over 10 years of experience, I use tools my clients love because they’re easy to manage, flexible, and built to grow with your business.

Yes! Once you have paid off the full balance of your website contract, the website is all yours. You can then choose to host, manage, and maintain the website on your own. Or, leave it with me with my website management services on a month-to-month basis.

Every website I build comes with an SEO kickstart, giving your business a strong foundation from day one. I structure your site with local SEO best practices in mind and guide you on creating content that helps customers find you on Google.

For contractors and local businesses that want real results, ongoing monthly SEO is the key. It helps improve visibility in your service area, attract the right leads, and compete for the search terms your customers are actually using.

I’m not just a web designer—I build websites with SEO in mind from day one. Unlike others who stop at design, I give your site a strong SEO foundation so it’s built to be found, not just to look good. Because in today’s digital world, a website without a marketing strategy won’t get you far.

My goal is to give your business a real shot at ranking on Google from launch. And when you’re ready to invest in ongoing SEO, your website will already be ahead of the competition. Why settle for ordinary when your website can work harder for you?

You can take as long as you need, but typically It takes  2-3 weeks. I will need your content before I can start your website month.

With regards to your domain name, no. You will be responsible for your website domain name. This allows you to retain full control and ownership over the domain.

I do offer website hosting through our fast, dedicated wordpress hosting, which means your website will be fast and secure. If you ever decide to take your website somewhere else, that is not problem, I don’t lock you in and will support you with the transition.
